How does it all work? Companies choose to get certified through our certification programs. They pay a fee to have their products tested and reviewed. This enables companies to use the certification marks on product labels.

IFOS – International Fish Oil Standards Program
Dedicated exclusively to marine oils (primarily omega-3 supplements), IFOS is Nutrasource’s oldest and most well-known certification. Thousands of products around the world proudly bear the IFOS certification mark as a symbol of transparency and quality.
IFOS lets companies test their products to the highest quality, safety, and purity standards across the globe. Then, they showcase their full testing results online for the world to see.

IGEN – International Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) Evaluation and Notification Program
Since its launch just a few years ago, IGEN has certified over 100 products and counting. Products are either certified as “Non-GMO Tested,” verifying that the finished product does not contain any GMO markers, or “Non-GMO Certified,” which traces all ingredients back to source.
IPRO - International Probiotic Standards Program
Our newest program, IPRO helps companies be more transparent in how their probiotics are manufactured, handled, tested, stored, shipped, and labelled.
That’s why companies willing to “bare it all” take that extra step to get certified. It gives their customers peace of mind so they can find safe, effective products made with quality ingredients.
